Three School Boats to Be Operated This Week

Three school boats will be operated again to serve Seribu Islands students. Previously, these three school boats operation were stopped due to administration transition.

City Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah, said the problem was only related to nomenclature that must adjust to the new Organization Structure and Working Procedure (SOTK).

"Recently, sea transportation is redirected to Water and Ports Transportation Unit (UP APK)," he said, Wednesday (3/1).

School Boats Operational in Seribu Islands Still Hampered

He explained that based on meeting result with City Inspectorate, it will be made handover news event (BAST) from Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept. to Water and Ports Transportation Unit (UP APK).

"I ensure, three school boats and one unit of operational boat will be operated again this week," he closed.
